Earl James Morrison

Earl Morrison, 80, of Taigh Na Mara Veterans' Home and a former resident of Foundary Street, Glace Bay, passed away Friday, March 26, 2004, at the home.

Born in Glace Bay, Earl was the son of the late Jim and Helen (Simmons) Morrison.
He served in Germany, Italy, Holland and France
with the Cape Breton Highlanders.

Earl was a former member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 3, Union Street, Glace Bay.

He was employed for over 40 years with Devco, working at the Machine Shop in Glace Bay.

Earl will be remembered by family and friends as a very quiet individual.

He is survived by his only daughter, Debbie (Mrs. Jerry Wadman), Glace Bay; one sister, Ruth Morrison, Glace Bay; one granddaughter, Shannon (Mrs. Vaughn Ross), New Waterford and one great-grandson, Jeremy McLean, Glace Bay.
Earl was predeceased by five brothers, Stanley, George, Leonard, Jimmy and Johnny and one grandson, Bobby Wadman.
